When I first started blogging on here, one of the things I told everyone was that I would keep my posts as positive as possible. So far, I have done that, and I have gotten some nice comments from people reading them saying how much they like the ...

Vince, Earl and Tommy, yes. But no way Cedric Benson or Roy Williams belong in this list or even in top 25 best Longhorn players. And Ricky, well, he might be one of the best to play at Texas but his post-college antics make it hard to include him...

Approaching Tipping Point?

The UT Forum here on Ning has seen some exciting additions over the past couple weeks. A “Big D” ~ Dallas group has been created for those Exes up in North Texas and individual invites should go out soon. We have two members who have provided some great info on their blog posts, so keep an eye out for these posts as they will be “featured” on the main page periodically. We now have a member using the “Twitter Tracker” application which is a very good way to leverage your twitter activity here on… Continue

April was as gentle as a Lamb!

One of the reasons folks fall in love with Austin while at UT is spring time in central Texas! What a great month for the UT Alumni Forum. Proud to welcome Korea to the international contingent of 13 nations represented here on the UT Forum. While Brooklyn joins the already strong representation from The Big Apple, showing that Longhorns “Do Love New York”. The already strong groups in Dallas, Houston and San Antonio continue to grow along with the entire West Coast. Of course Austin, the… Continue

Hi Jonathan. I just wanted to thank you for featuring my blog, and to let you know that there will be plenty more coming! I've been enjoying reading your blogs too. I also wanted to let you know that I recommended this site in the UT Group I started on my high school's Ning page. So far, one of my friends has joined, and I'm hoping more of them will join too. Have a great day!

Thanks. Good job on the site. I have recommended it to a few people and even met another alum, Michelle Zavala, in San Antonio.
Golf... yes. We need to schedule a round!

Thanks for the comment, Jonathan! The big D Almuni group is growing - we are 9 people strong now! Watch out, here we come :) Also, just posted a new blog - I know there have been a lot in a little amount of time, but it had been a couple of weeks since the last one. Check it out - it is one of my favorites. I do want to continue to post them on the alumni forum, but want to encourage anyone that wants to go to my website at www.jasonvanduen.com to check it out and join as a follower as well.

Thank you, Jonathan. I may take you up on that intro. I am a finalist for what could be a very good job. Will know soon (I hope).

It's new to me, too. All I did was download it and list "Texas Longhorns" as my topic. It appears to monitor Twitter posts that include those words. I like it so far. Thanks for your hard work on this site.

Hi Jonathan. First, let me say "Thank You!" for the welcome! I really appreciate it. Regarding my blogs, you are more than welcome to feature any of them on the page. I don't really have any personal favorites, but I can offer a few titles as suggestions, such as The Value Of An Education or Maintaining A Positive Professional Image. Other blogs I've written may be more appropriate to feature during certain times of the year, such as those dealing with voting in elections or the Christmas holidays. Have a great day, and thank you again for the welcome and interest in my blogs! Hook 'Em Horns!

Funny thing is that Rossi and I knew each other a decade ago, and hadn't seen her since then. Looks like a nice forum. Good job!
