One of the reasons folks fall in love with Austin while at UT is spring time in central Texas! What a great month for the UT Alumni Forum. Proud to welcome Korea to the international contingent of 13 nations represented here on the UT Forum. While Brooklyn joins the already strong representation from The Big Apple, showing that Longhorns “Do Love New York”. The already strong groups in Dallas, Houston and San Antonio continue to grow along with the entire West Coast. Of course Austin, the epicenter of Longhorn Nation, continues to grow in leaps and bounds (this wonderful springtime weather reminds everyone why those that come for school…often don’t leave Austin).
With the April 15th tax filing deadline safely behind us we can all get back to focusing on all things Texas Longhorn related. Cross your fingers folks, we are currently in talks with “Longhorn Gene” Williams from LonghornLiveRadio.com in hopes of combining Longhorn Live radio coverage with our on-line chat feature. It would be great to see the synergy of two forms of media (Radio/Web) come together for what is promising to be another banner year for Longhorn Athletics!
Longhorn groups on Facebook continue to explode, we are currently exploring the possibility of opening up membership to the millions of Facebook users but want to make sure the we maintain 100% integrity of this site before doing so. The UT Alumni Forum strives for strength in “quality” over “quantity”. Any feedback on this matter is very welcome.
Thanks to everybody supporting the UT Alumni Forum, it feels like the “tipping point” is right around the corner!
Amazing how strong Longhorn Nation is around the world!
Hook’em!
